Bridging Science and Spirit: A New Path for Women's Health and Well-Being
In this enlightening interview led by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, functional medicine expert Dr. Tanja Mayer discusses the unique health challenges women face today. Specializing in women’s health, she highlights how societal pressures, chronic stress, and inadequate approaches in Western medicine have left many women underserved. She emphasizes the importance of addressing emotional trauma, shifting to a nutrient-rich diet, and embracing energy medicine to support the body's natural systems. Among other things, Dr. Mayer also advocates for hormonal balance to nurture well-being. Her concluding message is compelling: Our health is interconnected with the Earth's health, and that’s why we should take care of both.
